The Artist
Meet Vic
Vic, better known as Vegas Vic, is a tattoo artist specializing in custom black-and-grey realism. Working from both Las Vegas, Nevada, and Buffalo, New York, he creates detailed, medium- and large-scale tattoos shaped around each client's story, anatomy, and vision.
Born in Mexico and raised in Las Vegas, Vic has deep roots in the city and often reflects on growing up downtown and watching it transform over the years. After graduating from Valley High School, he enlisted in the military and served a tour in Iraq — an experience that challenged him, shaped his discipline, and became one of the most formative chapters of his life.
From Struggle to Studio
Vic's path to tattooing was not a traditional one. During a period of incarceration beginning in 2013, he discovered a serious passion for art. He began painting, studying, and developing his skills from a small corner he considered his first studio. After returning home, he took a chance on a tattoo apprenticeship and committed himself fully to the craft.
Since then, Vic has studied under respected black-and-grey realism artists throughout the United States and continues to refine his technique with every piece. His work combines technical precision, strong composition, and a personal approach that allows each tattoo to feel specific to the person wearing it.
After a life defined by change, service, resilience, and reinvention, Vic has found his place as an artist within the communities he serves. He currently tattoos by appointment in both Buffalo and Las Vegas.
